Engagement on the platform
No ads. No misuse of data. No sharing of personal info with others. No such shit.
Users are required to have at least 50 friends on their Facebook network to be eligible to register with us. This is to ensure spammers and fake users do not spoil it for the genuine users.
We do not post anything to Facebook without your explicit consent. We do not get any data about your friends except the very-long-highly-encrypted-17-digit-numerical-facebook-IDs of those who are already on Glynk. Learn more about how we use your Facebook data
Your exact location will never be shown to anyone.
Private chats are visible only to the parties involved in the conversation.
All the content you create on Glynk (e.g.: meetups, recommendations, questions, comments etc.) except 1:1 chats, is potentially discoverable to all users on Glynk
Everytime we make changes to our policy, we’ll update the “last updated date” at the top.
All the data is sent over secure channels using HTTPS.
1-to-1 chats are completely secure. Two users can chat only if they have added each other to their network. And you can block any user from your network with a single tap of a button
You are the owner of your data, profile page, the data you see on your feed and the kind of people you interact with. For instance, you can completely block users from interacting with you in one tap. You can also remove specific comments from your posts, report posts or comments that you find inappropriate.
You can deactivate your account anytime and all your data will be removed. You can request to permanently delete your account by sending a mail to: and we’ll remove all your data from our systems within 48 hours from the date of receiving your request.
If you have shared your friend list with Glynk during your signup process, all your Facebook friends who are already on Glynk will be notified when you join Glynk. However, they will not be added to your Glynk network unless you add each other on Glynk.
Photos, GIFs or Videos you upload will be visible to other users on Glynk. Please read the terms of use for more details on how this data will be used by Glynk.
Glynk is a highly secure platform and thrives on providing complete control on privacy. There are many more tools and controls available within the app.
We may change this privacy policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email notification). We encourage you to review the privacy policy periodically to stay informed about our practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.
